What we collect

When you contact us

Your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us in your message, so that we can answer you.

When you buy something

Your name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number, and order details.

For smaller purchases we accept cash, personal check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, debit cards, invoice and PayPal. Card and PayPal payments are handled by our payment providers — we never see or store your full card number.

For larger purchases such as a full sauna, we accept cash, check or financing. If you apply for financing, the application is made to Wells Fargo Retail Services and the information you provide goes to them. They decide whether to approve it and they hold that application data under their own privacy policy, not ours. We receive only confirmation of whether your purchase is financed.

When you visit the site

This website runs on Squarespace, which records standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived.

  • Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used, so we can improve it. It sets cookies and collects usage data.

  • Google Maps is embedded on our contact page to show you where we are. Google sets its own cookies when that map loads.

  • The Facebook page feed embedded on our home page is provided by Meta. Meta sets its own cookies when it loads, whether or not you have a Facebook account.

Why we use it

To answer your questions, quote and fulfil orders, arrange delivery and installation, process financing applications where you ask us to, handle returns and warranty claims, keep our business records, and meet our tax and legal obligations.

We do not currently send marketing emails or run any other direct marketing, so we do not use your information for that.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, and only with:

  • Squarespace, which hosts this website

  • PayPal, where you choose to pay that way

  • Our card payment provider, for card transactions

  • Wells Fargo Retail Services, where you apply for financing

  • Delivery and installation partners, who receive your address and contact details so they can reach you

  • Google, through Analytics and the embedded map described above

  • Meta, through the embedded Facebook page feed described above

  • Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it

Cookies

This site uses cookies to keep it working and to remember what is in your cart. The embedded Google map and Facebook feed set their own cookies, which we do not control. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working properly if you do.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for how websites should respond to it, and this site does not currently respond to those signals. The third-party services described above may collect information about your visit over time and across other websites.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for 5 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to a sale are kept for 1 year.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
